MSNBC falsely claims that they never pushed for the banning of gas stoves. Progressives refuse to criticize

There is a growing movement among some progressives and environmental activists to phase out gas stoves and other gas appliances in favor of electric alternatives. The rationale behind this movement is that burning natural gas in homes releases greenhouse gases, which contribute to climate change, as well as harmful pollutants like nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide, which can be harmful to human health.

MSNBC has in the past pushed the narrative that banning gas stoves us in the nation's best interest. They have as of late lied however, falsely claiming that they've done no such thing. In the Twitter Clip below, this is stated. Democrats have at large refused to criticize MSNBC for lying, despite progressive values supposedly valuing calling out lying news outlets.
