AOC Blasts CNN For Hosting Trump Town Hall, Despite Hypocrisy

“CNN should be ashamed of themselves,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “They have lost total control of this ‘town hall’ to again be manipulated into platforming election disinformation, defenses of Jan 6th, and a public attack on a sexual abuse victim. The audience is cheering him on and laughing at the host.”

During a town hall event on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump reiterated his unproven allegations that the 2020 election was rigged, and he defended the actions of those who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, claiming they had "love in their heart". He also insulted author E. Jean Carroll, who had accused him of sexual assault and defamation, calling her a "whack job".

Despite the inherent attached hypocrisy, AOC has both maintained her position, whilst having liberals at large refusing to condemn her. AOC previously had criticized Fox news amoing other outlets, wishing for them to focus more on pro Liberal policies and figures. She has in effect finally gotten what she wanted with CNN giving a voice to Trump, but despite this, the hypocrisy of her actions are lost on her
