Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert Facing Theft Accusations, very little Criticism from Republicans For it
Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is facing accusations of illegally spending $60,000 on campaign calls and texts during the lead-up to the midterm election by the political action committee End Citizens United. The complaint has been filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), claiming that Boebert's campaign and PAC did not accurately report the "get out the vote" contact calls and texts. The filing alleges that Boebert, her campaign, and her PAC failed to report the communications accurately as independent expenditures or in-kind contributions.
Despite there being a reasonable chance that Lauren has functionally stolen more money than the vast majority of people that Republicans tend to have a problem with, she has received near zero scrutiny from Republicans for inexplicable reasons. One can only hazard a guess as to why Republicans refuse to condemn her, despite doing being accused of doing a significantly worse version of what most people Republicans criticize certain groups in the country of doing
