Connor Boyack, president of Libertas, claims that many modern 1st world human rights are not human rights.

“Health care is not a human right.

Housing is not a human right.

Education is not a human right.

You have no right to others' labor. Your "rights" aren't rights if they require taxing/enslaving others to provide you the products/services you demand.”

The above are the words of Connor Boyack. Naturally, a conversation about this can occur, but an unwillingness to see the above as human rights as defined by Connor Boyack can lead to a great many humans rights abuses, and horrific exploitation of people.

Healthcare for example, can be considered a human right because it is essential for the preservation and enjoyment of other human rights, such as the right to life, the right to education, the right to work, and the right to participate in cultural and social activities. Access to health care services is necessary for individuals to achieve their full potential and live a healthy and productive life.

Despite this, republicans have at large refused to criticize these words, despite being in many ways fundamentally contradictory to traditional conservative beliefs
